Sports is a huge topic hereabouts: Badger football, hockey, basketball (boo hoo: there is no joy in Madison tonight), not to speak of the Packers, or --I think--the Brewers. Seems to me there is also a pro basketball team in Milwaukee, which seems to occupy more of the attention of our senior Senator than stopping the War, or otherwise running the country.
I am a transplant into this environment, and just as they don't get my irony, I don't get their sports. So for the sake of economy, let me consolidate everything that I have to say on the subject, now and probably forever, right here:
