What a strange collection (and concatenation) of words in that headline. I wonder what an artificial intelligence language program (especially one not schooled in cycling jargon) would make of it.
Time flies, but fly-swatters don't.
Addendum: the lede also contains this phrase of interset (at least devoid of context): "maintaining his grip on the yellow jersey by one minute."
