Supreme Court race to dominate campaign finance reform hearing

From Wisconsin Radio Network:
By Jim Dick

A state senate committee takes up campaign finance reform today with the latest Supreme Court race in mind.
One advocate for clean government called the recent state supreme court race 'a cash soaked-special interest-contaminated smear fest.'

Not that there's anything wrong with that!
Surely Wisconsin Manufacturing & Commerce has our interests in mind, and knows what's best for us.

Another triumph of ideology over experience?

From The New York Times:

Student Lender Planned to Woo Officials:
The quick rise of Student Loan Xpress is a window into an industry in which profits have soared along with tuition and student debt.

Quite the window into yet another "triumph" of the morality of the free market. Perhaps someone can explain to me how much worse a direct government-operated student loan operation could be?
Oh, right. I don't mean under this Administration. Some other one, regardless of ideology, that believes in doing its job with basic honesty and competence. Something like that.
